Aurora Aerospace Booster Club: January Update

Welcome to the Aurora Aerospace Booster Club’s monthly blog post! Here’s a recap of everything we’ve been up to in January.

Flight Training and Aircraft Preparation
January was a busy month for us as we focused on flight training and preparing the MiG-21UM Aircraft for its first flight of 2025. The team has worked tirelessly to ensure that the aircraft is ready for a successful launch, and we’re looking forward to what this year holds.

Booster Club Launch
We’re excited to announce the official launch of the Aurora Aerospace Booster Club! Our public affairs team made a big splash by opening the shop, which allows us to sell exclusive merchandise both online and in person. The merchandise features designs by the talented Robin Elise (@studioeliseart). We've unveiled our new set of patches and stickers, which and be found on the shop or at Sun N' Fun '25

Sun N' Fun '25 Update
While we had high hopes for our appearance at Sun N’ Fun ’25, unforeseen challenges led to the difficult decision to cancel our participation this year. However, we are already planning for Sun N’ Fun ’26 and are excited to return stronger than ever.

Partnership with Profusion Clearwater
Our partners at Profusion Clearwater have been hard at work developing and fabricating MiG-21UM-specific tools. These new tools are essential for the maintenance team to keep our fleet flying and ensure the longevity of the aircraft.
